Could you please fix the links of this fantastic article?
Specially these two links
a staggering amount of research has been done on the effects of Ionized Water,

and this one
wrote a 30 page article explaining Ionized Water in great detail.

Thanks for your site

There is a difference between pessimism and skepticism. Science teaches us to be skeptics, meaning that we're open to the truth and willing to follow the evidence wherever it leads us, even if it challenges our beliefs. Pessimists are unwilling to consider any evidence and simply "have their mind made up".

Anybody who is skeptical of the benefits of alkaline ionized water, or wants to see dozens of peer-reviewed studies demonstrating anti-cancer, anti-diabetic, anti-tumor, anti-oxidant, etc. effects just email me at johntitor2012@gmail.com. The Scientific Method is based on direct empirical observation. If you are unwilling to consider any evidence or directly observe the water for yourself, politely keep your unfounded opinions out of a rational scientific discussion. They have no merit.

In Truth,

Want to know how alkaline water gets "past" the acidity in the stomach?

It Doesn't!

Fact: After digestion, the stomach empties itself of ALL contents! This means that there is little (or no) acid in an empty stomach. At most, there is a teaspoon of acid "left over" in an empty stomach.

Fact: Water does NOT require digestion! Water passes through an empty stomach, into the duodenum, and into the intestines, where it is simply absorbed. Your body does NOT have to do anything to water in order to absorb it.

Fact: The intestines are an alkaline environment, this means the higher pH of alkaline water is a benefit, the body does not need to "change" it!

Claims that alkaline water is neutralized in the stomach are nonsense. Anybody who makes that claim is a quack, and should be watched.

Simple test, fill 2 fish bowls with water, 1 ionized, the other tap, put a goldfish in each bowl & if the ionized water has more oxygen then the fish livin the tap water bowl should show distress first needing the water to be changed sooner. Just an idea.

Truth will win out in the end. If some thing is true it can withstand scrutiny. The truth is , you can commission an unbiased study at a major University. Of course you have to pay for it . You also have to live with the results. An example that comes to mind is the product Celcius( not a indorsement ) just an example. Before the product was marketed the makers commissioned a study at a major university. Probably cost less than $50,000. They were confident in their product. Universities do recieve research grants. So why dont they want to spend money on ionized water? ( the answer to me is obvious )
The makers of ionizing machines could easily afford to fund an unbiased double blind study. The question is why haven't they? ( the answer to me is obvious )
As for the statement that..... the medical establishment and university researchers are not interested in alternative medicine. I can think of several past and present examples of just the opposite. aspirin, anti oxident qualities of several berries, soluable fibers ability to boost the immune system, vitamin A derivitives thickening retinal pigment, Omega 3 fish oils, St Johns Wort and mild depression. UCLA is about to publish another study on the benefits of curcumin. The list could go on and on. There is an equally long list of anecdotal treatments that have been disproven by scientific study. As Yogi Berra says " you can look it up"

Nobody is denouncing god. What those websites reveal is the truth. None of you have a scientific background on the subject, so how can you say that those quackwatchers are incorrect?

I myself am trained in biology and have a degree from a respectable university and these claims about water ph and whatnot is simply playing on the subject of pH that most people don't even know about.

If you people want to defend the topic so much, why don't you contact a known biochemist and see what he thinks about the subject. I can already tell you that they will outright hang the phone up on you. My biochem professor denounces these claims and it would be wise for others to do the same.

I am very interested in any one persons double blind studies... despite the fact that no university (or other scientifically regarded institution) will ever approve or do their own unbiased studies on this and other alternative remedies; I think that such a study which doesn't have the scientific backing would have to have a documentary style video where the participants in the study would be interviewed, and have some proof of whatever illness they had. Testimony of other people who know that person, whatever. Where the study/video will lack in Scientific Credentials (due to the aforementioned), it will have people who are without a doubt ill (with backup to prove they indeed have some type of illness). I have looked and I haven't found any documentaries (beyond your usual but helpful Youtube videos) on alkaline ionized water, and I think that this could be very helpful to this cause. I am not a film maker, nor gifted in setting up such a study, but what little money I have I will donate to whatever group or individual who is willing to do something like this. If there already is a documentary that is pretty good about microclustered water, then please tell me because I would like to see it and show others. I believe that ionized water is as close to a panacea as you can get in this world. Not totally but close. The documentary should discuss the quack watcher types in it...bring it out in the open. I have always envisioned the quack watcher types as the Wizard of Oz but the opposite... whereas the wizard put on a horrible persona, he really was kind hearted and caring... QW's act like they are being kind hearted in trying to help people "not get taken in" by medical quackery, but in reality it isn't about the people but about putting down anything that challenges currently held medical beliefs (whether right or wrong). Some may be "agents" of the medical community, others just have to stick their nose into other peoples business. So everyday I put my seatbelt on, and strap the kids in the back because of the air bag, and make the kids ride in booster seats till they are 9 because of the weight restrictions... with helmets, kneepads, and pillow strapped around the bottom. We were all safer before government, insurance, and medical agencies became so concerned for our "well being"... we were safer riding in the back of our dad's pickup trucks with nothing holding us in except gravity...a little off topic but oh well.

Thank you very much for this site!
