Pregnancy and Perfect Babies: Beginning Life on Raw Foods

An expectant mother on a Raw-food Diet will give birth to a healthier baby than a motherpregnant whose diet consists mainly of cooked foods.  The fetus of an expectant mother who is a raw foodist receives nutrients that can only be derived from nature.  A fetus will only be as healthy as the nutrients that the host mother is providing to it.  Expectant mothers should move slowly to the Raw-food Diet.  She should not put herself through a major detoxification while pregnant because it would be too much strain on her and her fetus.

Another critical issue with pregnancy is proper hydration of the body.  Pregnant women with morning sickness and chronic headaches are often not sufficiently hydrated.  Considering that the embryonic sack that a fetus develops in is 99% water, pregnancy is as much about water as anything else.  Like any other living creature, a fetus functions best in a well hydrated environment.  A pregnant woman should consume 1 – 2 gallons of water per day, preferably Ionized Water.

Baby boy posingGenetic disease, chromosomal damage and other genetic anomalies occur with greater frequency when the mother has lived on a cooked-food diet, spent her pregnancy eating processed junk foods or putting other toxic substances in her body such as cigarette smoke or alcohol.  The imbalances and nutritional deficiencies that occur when we live on a cooked-food diet increase the potential of chromosomal damage that produces genetic disorders such as Cystic Fibrosis and Down Syndrome.  Poor diet can also keep a woman from becoming pregnant because her body is not functioning as it ought to due to improper nutrition.  A fetus that is fed nutrients that come from raw foods will have a much better chance of not being born with these genetic disorders or other health problems.  The earlier in life we become a raw foodist, the better.

Bob McCauley, ND (Robert F., Jr.) was raised in Lansing, Michigan and attended Michigan State University (BA, 1980 in Journalism). He earned his doctorate in Environmental Engineering in less than 2 years, one of the shortest doctoral studies in the history of MIT. He taught civil, sanitary and environmental engineering at Michigan State University for 18 years before retiring to run Wolverine Engineers & Surveyors of Mason, Michigan, for 17 years. His reputation throughout Michigan as a water quality expert was legendary. Bob worked for his father's company for 12 years learning the water business, which dealt primarily with municipalities, including water quality and sanitary sewer issues. After apprenticing with his father, Bob moved on to the bottled water business. He established greater Michigan's biggest selling bottled water: Michigan Mineral – Premium Natural Water. He was introduced to Ionized Water in 1995 and has done more to promote Ionized Water than anyone else in the industry. Bob often lectures and offers seminars on his Seven Component Natural Health Protocol . Bob is a Certified Nutritional Consultant and a Certified Master Herbalist. He is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Certified Instructor of Songahm Taekwondo (American Taekwondo Association).
