Nation Shocked! Dr. Bob says: “Told you so.”

By Dr. Bob McCauley

vitaminsGreat health is found in the produce section of your supermarket.  Researchers have concluded that multivitamins don’t do a thing to improve your health. CBS News did a story on it.  I discovered that myself 15 years ago in 1998.  I was taking 7 or 8 vitamin supplements per day back then until I discovered that everything I wanted to put in my body to make it healthy is right there in Spirulina, a blue green algae.  I started taking it, then discovered Chlorella, a green algae, which was different, and even better in a lot of ways.  Spirulina and Chlorella are whole foods, not supplements.  They are foods that can be taken in powder or tablets for convenience. Vitamin supplements are concoctions.

Then I discovered raw fruits and vegetables and found that ALL my vitamins and minerals could be found in natural sources.  I realized that taking multivitamins and minerals was a fruits - vegwaste of money because there was no way they would work.  They have some “designed” just for men, some “designed” just for women.  I often wondered back then – when I had no idea where nutrients actually came from – what if I took the women’s vitamins.  Would my muscles go limp and I my beard would stop growing.

What nonsense all these designer multivitamins are.  I moved to Spirulina, Chlorella and raw foods and my energy increased, as did my stamina and recovery.  I realized in less than one week, after 30 years of taking vitamin supplements, that they are useless.

Minerals_and_our_healthAs far as minerals I am of the mind we need to supplement them.  After being on a raw food diet for more than 5 years I found that I was deficient in many minerals since it is nearly impossible to get all the minerals we need exclusively from the foods we eat.  The most effective mineral supplements are Angstrom Minerals, which are taken by holding them under the tongue so they can be absorbed into the bloodstream directly through the sub-lingual duct.  I wrote a book on Angstrom Silver, and how to take angstrom minerals.

Now “science” has at long last “discovered”  what I found to be true nearly 15 years ago.  Vitamin Supplements are completely worthless.  Health is found exclusively in the raw world.  The authors of the study said it best:

Enough-LOGO“We believe that the case is closed — supplementing the diet of well-nourished adults with (most) mineral or vitamin supplements has no clear benefit and might even be harmful,” concluded the authors of the editorial summarizing the new research papers, published Dec. 16 in the Annals of Internal Medicine. “These vitamins should not be used for chronic disease prevention. Enough is enough.”

Indeed.
