Chlorella with Bacopa Extract Tablets – First to the Market

NatureBuilt Products has release Chlorella combined with Bacopa Extract (aka brahmi) in tablet. It is the first product of its kind on the market, Chlorella combined with Bacopa in tablet form. The World’s Most Insidious Product

I have said for years that Round Up (TM) manufacturer by Monsanto is the most insidious product that has ever been invented. That is a tall claim and one that needs to be defended, so I will. Round Up is a herbicidal product that will kill ever plant on Earth other than the seeds that have been genetically modified (GMO) by Monsanto. Think of the power that Monsanto has. It possesses seeds that cannot be killed by its own product, which CAN kill every other plant on Earth. That's 100,000's of plant types potentially under its control. Monsanto was chemical company that decided to get into the agricultural seed business 30 years ago. They started by buying up over 50 large agricultural seed companies around the the world. Monsanto motto (internal, not public) is "No seed shall be sown they we don't own." Some of the genetically modified corn that they grow is actually registered as an insecticide because when insect eat the corn they die. For that reason, I don't eat corn that I don't grow myself or I know that the farmer who grew it knows where they got their seeds from.

HR2749 (US House Legislation), which I had written about extensively, is an attempt to do away with the family farm and give power to mega-agricultural corporations. However, we have a glimmer of hope with this news.
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, a federal judge in California has banned the planting of genetically modified sugar beets created by Monsanto. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White handed down the court’s decision which vacates the deregulation of Roundup Ready sugar beets, which are engineered to withstand Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer. The ban affects genetically modified sugar beets planted after the ruling and does not affect crops already planted and harvested for sugar, White said. White ruled in September 2009 that the USDA will have to complete an Environmental Impact Statement for the sugar beets. The USDA has estimated that an EIS may be ready by 2012. Monsanto has said in court papers that revoking regulators' approval of sugar beets would cost the biotech giant and its customers approximately $2 billion in 2011 and 2012.

We have to fight against Monsanto and companies like them that are intent on controlling our food supply at any cost. I suggest the following documentaries: "The World According to Monsanto", "Controlling Our Food", "Monsanto, Poison & Genes", "Monsanto: Extinction" and "Food Inc."

We need to become aware of what this corporation is up to and believe me it's not good.

Dioxane is Dangerous. Best and Worst Laundry Detergents

Green Patriot Working Group (GPWG) began a study in 2007 to determine with detergents were safest to use and which were the most dangerous. Ethoxylation is an inexpensive ingredient use to lessen the severity of the harsher ingredients. 1,4-dioxane is created as a byproduct of this practice. Since it is considered a byproduct of ethylene oxide reacting with other ingredients, 1,4-dioxane is technically considered a contaminant and thus does not have to be included on product labeling. This deceptive practice misleads the public as to which detergents are safe and which are not.

Do not use these detergents because they contain high levels of 1,4-dioxane: Eye and nose irritation was reported by people exposed to low levels of 1,4-dioxane for short periods of time. Exposure to very high levels may cause severe kidney and liver effects and possibly death. Studies in animals demonstrated that breathing vapors of 1,4-dioxane, swallowing liquid 1,4-dioxane or contaminated drinking water, or having skin contact with liquid 1,4-dioxane primarily affects the kidneys and liver. Dioxane is very dangerous and potentially lethal.

Dyno®-Mill or Dinosaur – New Technology for Opening Chlorella’s Cell Wall

Much has been said about how the cell wall of Chlorella pyrenoidosa is cracked or opened. Chlorella is a green algae whose outer cell wall is composed of thick layers of dietary fiber that is excellent for digestion and binds with heavy metals and other synthetic toxins and removes them from the body.

“Chlorella’s cell wall is comprised of 3 layers. The middle layer contains the thickest cellulose microfibrils. The outer layer is extremely resistant to tearing or breakage. The characteristics of this fiber are unique to Chlorella and why it is so important that we consistently have Chlorella in our diet because it is not found in any other food source. Even dead Chlorella has the ability to soak up toxins after it has bonded with them. ”

This fiber that surrounds the cells must be cracked or broken so that the nutrients inside can be completely absorbed by the body. If the Chlorella cell is not opened, then only a small amount of nutrients would be available to the body. All Chlorella that is imported into the United States must be cracked or open cell according to FDA regulations.

The Antiquated Method Typical Dyno-mill Food Processor

The Dyno®-Mill technique that is used to open Chlorella’s cell wall was first developed in Japan in the mid-1970’s. This technology was originally developed for use in the meat industry and has subsequently been used in other food industries including Chlorella production. The use of Dyno®-Mill techniques in Chlorella production was indeed breakthrough technology for its time since no other technology had been developed that effectively broke open Chlorella’s thick cell wall.

The Dyno®-Mill process uses thousands of very small glass beads (2 mm in diameter) such as those pictured here that are placed in a drum with the Chlorella and spun together for several minutes. It is an effective way to open the Chlorella cell wall. However, the Chlorella cells are exposed to potential lead and other contamination from the glass beads that are used in the process, especially if some of the glass beads are cracked or broken. This milling process, which can be compared to milling wheat into flour, pulverizes the Chlorella cell rather than just gently cracking it open. When the Chlorella cell is pulverized it immediately becomes susceptible to oxidation, which leads to degradation of its nutrients. The Dyno®-Mill process also destroys the cell’s membrane, chloroplast, mitochondria and nucleus. The main problem with this archaic method of opening Chlorella’s cell wall is that the scrambling of its nutrients significantly decrease its self-life, which is critical with regard to the marketing, nutritional integrity and consumption of Chlorella.

A Superior Method of Opening Chlorella Cell Wall Example 1

Far more effective methods of opening Chlorella’s cell wall have been developed since the 1970’s. The state-of-the-art Pressure-Release® method used by our manufacturer is an entirely new approach to opening Chlorella’s cell wall. As the Chlorella cells pass through the specially designed Pressure-Release® chamber they rupture, or crack open, due to the sudden and extreme changes in pressure. There are several advantages to the Pressure-Release® technique over that of the Dyno®-Mill process. Example 2: Pressure-ReleaseFirst, and most importantly, nothing comes in contact with the Chlorella cells, therefore the process is 100% natural and organic. The nutrients of the Chlorella cells are now available to be digested by the body. Second, the Chlorella cells are not exposed to heavy metals from glass or other impurities that may be present within the glass. And since they have not been pulverized, but rather only pulverized as can be seen in Examples 1 and 2, their unique nutrients remain in tact. Thirdly, oxidation and nutrient degradation are significantly reduced when using the Pressure-Release® method. You can see a significant difference between a Pressure-Release® processed Chlorella cell and one that has not be processed, or cracked open, in the photo to the right. Natural Products EXPO Goes Green meaning . . .

We attended the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, CA this last week, March 12 - 14, 2010. While there is good news about Natural Products Expo (www.expowest.com), there is plenty to be unhappy about regarding the show.

We heard from New Hope Media http://www.newhope.com/, the company that runs the expo, that they had "gone green" and everything was now paperless. No more phone book size catalogs, no more plastic badge covers and paperless press room. All that is fine and I have no problem with it, but if they are saving all that money on the "paperless expo", why does the price of the booths at the expo keep going up. Every year it's another $400 - $500 for a booth. You would think that some of that savings might be passed along to the exhibitors but instead we are looked upon as ATM machines rather than customers.

Then there is the union, Freeman http://www.freemanco.com who charges outrageous amounts of money to do almost nothing and NEVER even offers a "Thank you for doing business with us". You get nothing from this group but a bill that has already been charged to your credit card. They move a pallet or two for you and you get a bill for $1000 or more. They don't allow anyone to use a hand cart on the floor. Everything must be carried in by hand if you are not using them. This is so you will be FORCED to use them. Forcing is what unions are best at. We rent space at a warehouse that charges us $5.00 per pallet to off-load them and bring them to our rental space. This is because they aren't union. Another thing that Freeman is short on is politeness and professionalism. Their attitude is that we are lucky, so lucky, that they are there to help us. If it wasn't a union doing this everyone knows that the cost for their services would be 25% of what they are charging.

I may be the only one to be writing about this, but I did not talk to a single exhibitor who did not agree with me that this show was a ripoff and it got worse every year. The Natural Products EXPO has gone green alright, right into their pockets. Personally, I think that their entire "Gone Green" stance is nothing but a marketing tool. I think that if "Going Purple" or any other color would make them money they would do that as well. I'm not against it but I know a marketing ploy when I see one. Which brings me to my last point:

What I really resented was their keynote speaker: Bill McKibben, who is a political activist of sorts. I listen to his keynote address and the one thing that stuck in my memory was that CNN had reported his organizing efforts on October 24, 2009 as "the most widespread day of political action in the planet's history." Nothing against political action or trying to do something positive but I deeply resent going to a Natural Products Expo and finding that the keynote speaker is a political activist who we are suppose to clap for and support their efforts, when in fact no one really knew who McKibben is (he has a long history) and what his political organization does. And yet there was an entire room full of people who clapped like seals for him every time he uttered another one of his platitudes.

I don't have anything against Bill McKibben or 350.org, but I resent a health expo being politicized by anyone, any group, for any reason. Right, center, left, it doesn't matter. I didn't travel across half the country to listen to someone political pitch, regardless of what it was, and someone telling us that this is all "good for us." I didn't hear one word about health out of his mouth. Somehow, I believe that I wasn't suppose to care about that.

The Natural Products EXPO use to be about health, not politics. Now it's about big business and getting as much money from the vendors as they possibly can. It's about politics and money.

Expo East, Natural Product EXPO, in Boston 2009 was terrible. I exhibited the first year in Boston and attended in 2009. It was very poorly attended. Boston is extremely expensive and the convention center difficult to get to. It is the worse city to have an expo I know of. NPE East was great when it was in Baltimore then they moved it. Do yourself a favor and skip it in 2010. I love Boston, but it's not worth it. Ask any of the vendors from 2009 what they thought of it. It was the most dead expo I have ever attended. You won't get ripped off from the "green" New Hope Media and the ridiculously high-priced unions and you won't be lectured to by political activists trying to pass themselves off as health advocates.

A Step by Step Guide to Achieving Great Health

Level One: Copper
Begin drinking Ionized Water
There is nothing needed by the body more than water and there is no better water than Ionized Water. Ionized Water is a powerful antioxidant that alkalizes the body and hydrates the body better than any other water because the size and shape of its water molecule clusters is much smaller than conventional water. This also helps flush unwanted substances, i.e. toxins, out of the body. Ionized Water is extremely detoxifying.

Level Two: Bronze
Add Spirulina and Chlorella to your diet
These are the most powerful whole foods in the world and what we should use for our main protein source. If you take 3 – 4 grams of either Spirulina or Chlorella with each meal that is all the protein you will need for that meal. If you want to eat animal protein, meat, fish, eggs or dairy, it is strictly for the taste and is not required by the body. The more we can limit if not eliminate animal protein from our diet the healthier we will be. Only 10 grams (40 tablets – 250 mg each tablet) of Spirulina and/or Chlorella provides the body with all the protein it requires. Spirulina and Chlorella are the most powerful superfoods known, the absolute kings of the plant world. They are the most nutritionally dense and have the broadest array of nutrients of any whole foods known.

Level Three: Silver
Step taking Angstrom Minerals each day
Minerals are the Keys that start the Engine of our Health. Every bodily process depends on a particular mineral to take place. Whether it is the production of an amino acid or an enzyme interaction, the proper mineral must be present for it to occur. It is difficult for us to consume foods that have enough minerals in them and even more difficult for the body to absorb them. For optimal health we need to supplement with angstrom minerals. Angstrom refers to the incredibly small size of the minerals. These liquid minerals are taken in small amounts and held in the mouth under the tongue so they are absorbed through the sublingual gland. This allows the minerals to be injected directly into the bloodstream where they can efficiently be used by the body as it needs them. It has been my observation that people who are mineral deficient tend to live lives of scarcity while people who are mineral rich tend to live lives of abundance.

Level Four: Gold
Begin taking Prebiotics or Probiotics
Probiotics are critical to human health. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a friendly bacterium necessary for the digestion of proteins. It also reduces fungus infections, lowers blood cholesterol, aids general digestion and enhances nutrient absorption. Deficiencies may result in constipation, bloating, intestinal toxicity, gas, bad breath, Candida, mold and fungal infections. Bifidus is key for the synthesis of the vitamin K and B vitamins, including Vitamin B-12. Deficiency of Bifidus can cause constipation, gas and elevated levels of ammonia from protein digestion, which can lead to liver toxicity. Probiotics also help keep harmful bacteria such as H-Priori and e-coli Prebiotics are fermented foods that are beneficial to the growth of intestinal flora such as Acidophilus and Bifidus, therefore they work together to provide the body with intestinal wellbeing. This is of vital importance since most diseases of the body begin the digestive tract.

Level Five: Platinum
Begin Eating More Raw Foods
Try to include as many different kind of raw foods to your diet as possible. I personally eat 200 – 250 foods each year. Although I may consume very small amounts of some of them, it’s important to remember that each and every food is completely unique. My Raw Food Pyramid explains which foods you should eat and in what quantities. Our diet should consist mostly of green foods because Chlorophyll is the single most important nutrient required by the body. Therefore, most of what we consume should consist of green leafy foods such as kale, spinach, parsley and arugula. Cooking foods destroys their enzymes and scrambles chemical structure of the food greatly diminishing the nutrient potential of that food. Cooking foods above 105F transforms them from alkaline, rejuvenating foods that reduce the oxidation of the body into a substance that is no longer recognizable by the body. Cooked foods acidify, provide little nutrition and increase the oxidation of the body, which accelerates the aging process.

There are many ways to start including raw foods in your diet, such as making a juice and/or having a salad each day. Doing either one or both of these on a regular basis will make a tremendous difference in your health.

Level Six: Diamond
Add Herbal Extracts and Chlorella Growth Factor to your Diet

Herbs are plants that we have determined possess powerful attributes that are beneficial to our health. They are not complete foods such as Spirulina and Chlorella, meaning they do not have a balanced compliment of protein (amino acids), carbohydrates and fat. Rather, herbs are concentrated in one or more chemical compounds, each that have profound health benefits of different kinds. And since there are innumerable plants, there are innumerable kinds of benefits to our health. When we take Herbs that are best taken with complete foods such as Spirulina and/or Chlorella that have protein, carbohydrates and fats in them. This allows these powerful herbs to be mollified as they enter the bloodstream. This is especially true of people who are very toxic, are on medications or have been sick for a very long time.

For instance, the herb Tribulus has chemical saponins that build muscle in the body. Mucuna has L-Dopamine that acts as a mood enhancer and has been shown in studies to improve neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. Valerian has valproic acid that helps us to relax. It also encourages deep, regular sleep patterns. Bacopa contains chemical components known as bacosides that improve memory and mental focus. The curcumin found in Turmeric is excellent for inflammation in the body. Studies also show that it can also help in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. It also helps increase energy as well as improves health and longevity. Shilajit counteracts Diabetes and regulates the blood sugar levels. The rewards of practicing God’s laws, including His laws that honor our temple, are too innumerable to imagine. Doing so will take both your physical and spiritual life to a place few have ever visited, let alone conceived of. I have personally experienced a level of health I never knew existed before I began following this health protocol. I would be lying to say it is easy to maintain, but it is definitely worth it. I struggle every day, but my reward is often beyond words and simply a thing you have to experience for yourself to understand its joy.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 [NIV]

I am crying to you about your health from the desert the way others have cried from lonely places wanting others to hear God’s message. This is a difficult message to hear, but it is not beyond your reach. This message is tough love, but love nonetheless. We all face tremendous difficulties in our lives. Some we feel are impossible to overcome. But with God, everything is possible. God never gives us challenges that we cannot overcome because He is infinitely fair. As with all the challenges that confront us, all we need to do is turn ourselves toward the face of God, ask for His mercy and it will be granted to us.

Curcumin induces apoptosis-independent death in oesophageal cancer cells

Researchers from the University College Cork and Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Ireland found in their comprehensive study that curcumin, found in abundance in turmeric (an orange root), cause apoptosis (death) of cancer cells. Chemical antioxidants, curcumoids, kill cancer cells by interpruting mitosis so the cell cannot split. A cell that cannot split cannot perpetuate itself. Therefore, when a cancer's mitosis is interpreted, it dies. Curcumin does this.

I juice turmeric regularly. It's potent stuff and I love it. It burns the mouth and the flavor is intense. I don't love the taste or the burning, but I know what incredible health properties turmeric has. There are three roots I know of that have powerful health properties: Turmeric, Ginseng (found around the 40-43rd parallel) and Maca Root (found above 14,000 ft). Each has incredible health properties that the other doesn't have. Many other roots also have incredible health properties.

You can look at any raw food and find powerful health properties that target certain areas of the health picture. In the case of turmeric, it kills cancer cells. We can consume curcumin with a whole food such as turmeric or as a curcumin concentrate, up to 95% pure.

Conclusion: Curcumin can induce cell death by a mechanism that is not reliant on apoptosis induction, and thus represents a promising anticancer agent for prevention and treatment of oesophageal cancer.

The Study demonstrates that certain foods have incredible anti-cancer properties that we are just beginning to learn about. As we continue to study more foods and their chemical components we will find how nature has provided everything to us that we need to cure the body of disease and be as healthy as we want to be.
