Lansing, Michigan has been the center of the raw-food movement in Michigan for more than 15 years now. There have been a handful of key personalities in the Lansing area that made this happen. It is amazing, and quite ironic, that Lansing, Michigan would actually have any raw-food awareness at all, given it is a blue collar working class town that is currently in a deep recession and has been for many years. However, Lansing survives and it is all the better for having a raw-food awareness community that reminds us that the raw-food diet is the healthiest diet possible. Continue reading →
