One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. At TAIWAN LEADER BIOTECH CORP. in Taichung, Taiwan where they only one of four companies in the world that cultivate Antrodia cinnamomea, one of the rarest mushrooms on earth only found in Taiwan.
The Cinnamomum kanehirai tree is protected in Taiwan, and each piece of wood that they grown the Androdia mushroom is registered with the Taiwan FDA. It takes approximately 2 years to grow the Androdia mushroom.
They contain triterpenoids which are known for their immune building properties – as does Chaga Mushroom, as well as helping blood stability, and aiding cardiovascular health. It gives fighting properties to help problems within the liver, lung, cervical, colon, and breast, as well as blood and tissue. The facility also has a state-of-the-art laboratory to study Androdia cinnamonea. This is the only company that cultivates it in this way.
Antrodia cinnamonea and Antrodia camphorata are known to possess a lot of active ingredients such as triterpenoids, polysaccharides, adenosine, vitamins (such as vitamin B, niacin), proteins (immunoglobulins), superoxide dismutase (SOD), minerals (such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron) and nucleic acid. Other bioactive compounds include polysaccharides, maleic/succinic acid derivatives, benzenoids and benzoquinone derivatives. Over 78 compounds consisting of terpenoids, benzenoids, lignans, benzoquinone derivatives, succinic and maleic derivatives.
Here is one of many studies conducted on the anti-cancer abilities of Antrodia, as well as Chaga Mushroom: Anticancer effects of eleven triterpenoids derived from Antrodia camphorata. Anticancer Res. 2012 Jul;32(7):2727-34. Lee YP1, Tsai WC, et al.
What a tour!
