Quora Question: Should kids be vegan?
My Answer: If you include Chlorella and Spirulina, which are 60% protein, then yes, absolutely children should be raised vegan. However, remember that when you try to control a child’s dietary habits that may backfire on you later as they get older, see other kids eating burgers and pizza, and then they do the same. My boys were offered a choice of being vegans or not. They chose to both be vegans. They are in their 20’s and still are vegans. I’m happy for them, but I would not hold it against them if they were not. However, I would often remind them that they vegan diet with chlorella and spirulina is the healthiest diet.
