I sometimes put on a lab coat and a stethoscope when I do my videos, but it’s all in jest. I wear them as props and to poke fun at doctors who wear them in their videos as a way to give themselves authority. They are medical doctors so “they know and you don’t.” They are often arrogant and dismissive to their patients.
I don’t call myself a physician as apparently many Naturopathic Doctors I have learned. There is something called a Naturopathic Physician in states such as California, but not in Colorado. I like being called a doctor, but I don’t want to be confused with someone thinking I’m a medical doctor or any part of the medical establishment. I don’t now anything about medicine or pharmaceuticals – nothing. I know about nature and how to be healthy naturally.
I went to The Trinity School of Natural Health, which is accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board, in Las Vegas, NV. The American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board is the division that offers the board certification test.
My only wish is that medical doctors would stop pretending they know something about diet and nutrition since they have absolutely NO training it whatsoever. I will not talk about what I don’t know anything about, and medical doctors can do the same.
