Why don’t people turn vegan when they find out they don’t need meat to survive?
That’s the best question of them all. They continue to eat meat because they like the taste and they are under the mistaken impression that it’s good for them. They eat meat – even when they learn it is bad for their health – out of habit. They can’t imagine a meal without a piece of meat sitting in the center of the plate. What you put into your body is 100% physiological – all in your mind.
I don’t eat curried foods because I didn’t grow up in India. I grew up on a standard meat and potato American diet. How I became healthy was by training myself to eat in a different way. Healthy really comes down to lifestyle changes and learning what foods are actually healthy (raw fruits & vegetables) and then having the resolve to only eat those foods.
