Purified Water and its Dangers

Water cures, but purified water destroys anyone who consumes it.  Purified water is produced by distillation or reverse osmosis and should not be consumed for three reasons.  It acidifies the body, leaches alkaline material from the body, including minerals, and because of the large size and shape of its water molecule clusters it does not hydrate the body well.  In fact, long-term use can leave us dehydrated.  Purified water has had all the minerals removed from it, which is a substance that cannot be found in nature.  Because of its extreme purity, purified water absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, which makes it acidic and even more aggressive at dissolving the alkaline substances it comes in contact with.  It usually contains little or no dissolved oxygen and therefore is considered dead water.  Purified water enters the body pure, but does not come out pure.  It leaches vital minerals from the body, turning it more acidic.  Even purified water that has been ionized should be avoided.  Even though ionization does increase purified water’s hydration properties, the trade off is not worth it because it will steal minerals from the body.

Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher, first introduced the concept of micro-cluster water molecule clusters.  Using Magnetic Resonance Analysis, he demonstrated that water which had been distilled, polluted or passed through the body after consumption had lost its structure or inner order.  Destruction of this natural crystalline structure leaves purified water useless to the body.  It has been changed beyond its natural structure the same way cooking foods changes their natural chemical structure.  Purified water proponents insist that rain water is the same as purified water because rain is condensed from clouds which are accumulated air moisture.  Rain water, however, has a crystalline structure, thus it is completely different from purified water which has no structure.  Re-mineralizing purified water will allow it to regain its crystalline structure at which point it can now be consumed.

The water found in plants is quite similar to distilled water in its purity.  However, when we consume a plant such as a carrot, we do not only consume the water, but the whole plant as well, thus the water is buffered by the alkaline nature of minerals and enzymes of the plant.  But to extract that water and consume it without neutralizing its purity and acidic nature, our body becomes the buffering agent and alkaline minerals are leached from it.

The list of purified water proponents who are raw foodists and other naturalists is long.  Dr. Norman Walker, for instance, was a strong proponent of purified water, as was Paul Bragg.[1] I am one of the few naturalists who opposes the consumption of purified water, but I am not entirely alone.

“The longer one drinks purified water, the more likely the development of mineral deficiencies and an acid state.  Disease and early death is more likely to be seen with the long term drinking of purified water.” [2] Since it has been transformed into an unadulterated chemical substance (H2O), purified water naturally seeks to balance or mollify its extremely pure, acid condition with an alkaline buffer.  Removing minerals from water makes it hungry for anything that is not like itself.  All things in nature strive to balance themselves.  What is immediately available to purified water when it is consumed are the alkaline minerals and other alkaline material of the body, thus they are absorbed by the pure water and carried away with it as it leaves the body.  It is the extreme characteristics of purified water that encourages this leaching of minerals.  One person’s black hair completely turned gray after only two weeks on a distilled-water fast because all the copper, which is used to form hair pigment, was leached from his body.  While purified water can remove toxins, it will also take with it vital minerals and other elements important to the body, which promotes osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and a host of other diseases.

Many will argue that taking mineral supplements will compensate for the theft of minerals due to purified water.  If you have sea salt, algae, sea vegetables and a large variety of other raw foods in your diet, there may be a chance that this would occur.  Trying to replace them with mineral supplements is impossible, regardless of whether they are angstrom-size or chelated for better absorption.

“There is a correlation between purified water and how it steals calcium from the body.  [As this happens] the body begins to cannibalize itself to meet the calcium requirements of the body.  Chronic digestive problems such as gas and diarrhea are common among purified water drinkers. As the consumption of soft water (distilled water is extremely soft) increases, the incidence of cardiovascular disease also increases. Cells, tissues and organs do not like to be dipped in acid and will do anything to buffer this acidity including the removal of minerals from the skeleton and the manufacture of bicarbonate in the blood.” [3]

Paavo Airola[4] also warned about the dangers of purified water.  Reverse osmosis remains the water of choice in most health food stores.  The process of reverse osmosis and distillation denatures and adulterates water beyond its natural state.  Purified water is dead and therefore void of vibration or ORP.[5]  We should strive to consume substances that have a negative charge or ORP such as Ionized Water, raw foods and algae.

“The longer one drinks distilled water, the more likely the development of mineral deficiencies and an acid state. I have done well over 3000 mineral evaluations using a combination of blood, urine and hair tests in my practice. Almost without exception, people who consume distilled water exclusively, eventually develop multiple mineral deficiencies.” [6]

The size and shape of purified-water molecule clusters is substantially different from conventional water, rain water or Ionized WaterWater has been shown to have a “memory”; even if it is substantially changed it will eventually revert to its original shape and vibration frequency.  However, if water is completely stripped of its minerals and oxygen, it is dead and this “memory” is lost.

Proponents of purified water state that the minerals in conventional water collect in our veins over time and become like cement, which is an absurd and entirely unsupported notion, scientifically or otherwise.  Autopsies of elderly people who have consumed water with a high mineral content all their lives have shown no indication of cementing in their veins whatsoever.

“Those who supplement their distilled water intake with trace minerals are not as deficient but still not as adequately nourished in minerals as their non-distilled water drinking counterparts even after several years of mineral supplementation.”[7]

Proponents of purified water also claim that the amount of minerals in conventional water are small, about what is found in a slice of orange per eight ounce glass of water.  However, this misses the point entirely.  The minerals found in conventional water provide better hydration and a crucial buffer that prevents minerals from being leached from the body.  It also does not acidify the body.

Purified Water can be used to detoxify the body on a short-term basis, one or two days at the very most.  It can leach toxins out of the body quite efficiently, but does so in a completely different way than Ionized Water, which is safer and more effective in the long run.

“Fasting using distilled water can be dangerous because of the rapid loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride) and trace minerals like magnesium, deficiencies of which can cause heart beat irregularities and high blood pressure. Cooking foods in distilled water pulls the minerals out of them and lowers their nutrient value.” [8]

The hydration properties of purified water are extremely poor.  People who drink as much as one gallon of distilled water per day for years can find themselves dehydrated because purified water does not properly hydrate the body and its cells.  The structure of a purified-water molecule cluster is five-sided or pentagonal, and the angle at which the molecules come together, called the bond angle, is extremely high and the water molecule is quite large.  The larger the bond angle, the less hydrating the water is.  These large water molecules do not penetrate body tissue or its cells efficiently; therefore, purified water does not hydrate the body well.

Ionized Water and purified water are exactly the opposite from each other in every way.  Purified water is acid; Ionized Water is alkaline.  Purified water leaves the body dehydrated; Ionized Water is extremely hydrating.  Purified water leaches minerals from the body; Ionized Water provides minerals to the body.[9] Purified water does not provide the body with oxygen; Ionized Water does.  Purified water does not scavenge for free radicals; Ionized Water does.  Purified water encourages oxidation of the body; Ionized Water reduces oxidation.

FDA labeling regulations require that only water purified by reverse osmosis or distillation can be labeled Drinking Water.  Leave it to regulators to confuse the public on this issue, but it is crucial.  Don’t consume anything labeled Purified Water or Drinking Water.

An atom that loses an electron in the process has been oxidized.  The one that gains an electron has been reduced.  This is why Ionized Water is sometimes called reduced water.  In picking up that extra electron, it loses the electrical energy that makes it hungry for more electrons. Chemicals such as bromine, chlorine, and ozone are all oxidizers.  They have the ability to oxidize or steal electrons from other substances.  An ORP meter measures the millivolts of any liquid to determine the ORP value.

The more hydrogen ions that are present, the more acid the water becomes since pH (potential for hydrogen) is a measurement of the presence or absence of hydrogen ions. Body pH is a measurement of electrical resistance between negative and positive ions in the human body.  If the body possesses an abundance of positive hydrogen ions, we are acidic.  If the body possesses an abundance of negative hydroxyl ions, we are alkaline.

Of All Places!! Lansing, MI: Raw Food Movement Hotspot

People often ask me what they need to do to be healthy and I always tell them the same thing, drink ionized water, and start eating raw fruits and vegetables.  When they look at me as though I’m insane I tell them a great way to get started is to go to the raw-food potluck the first Monday of each month if they’re from Lansing.  If they can’t make it then they can attend the other raw-food potluck on the third Saturday morning of each month.  The fact that there is a store in Lansing, Michigan like the Watershed Wellness Center is amazing.  And the fact that I have somewhere local to send my customers if they want to start eating more raw fruits and vegetables is nothing less than a blessing.

Lansing, Michigan has been the center of the raw-food movement in Michigan for more than 15 years now.  There have been a handful of key personalities in the Lansing area that made this happen.  It is amazing, and quite ironic, that Lansing, Michigan would actually have any raw-food awareness at all, given it is a blue collar working class town that is currently in a deep recession and has been for many years.  However, Lansing survives and it is all the better for having a raw-food awareness community that reminds us that the raw-food diet is the healthiest diet possible.  Just look at Cricket Lott and 

One of the pioneers of the raw-food movement in the greater Lansing area is Hiawatha Cromer.  I was made aware of raw foods when Hiawatha introduced me to sprouting.  I ask myself why I wanted to eat sprouts and I realize it was because of the enzymes.  I read a book by Dr. Edward Howell called Enzyme Therapy and I knew instantly that I should only be eating raw fruits and vegetables.  Hiawatha arranged for me to speak at the Raw-food potluck run by Cricket Lott in the First Christian Church northwest of the Frandor shopping mall.  It was the first time I ever had a chance to try raw foods that have been prepared as though they were cooked foods.  I remembered eating raw spaghetti and raw pizza.  I was intrigued that anybody could make food like this that was both tasty and healthy.  Taste and health does not always go together, to say the least.

I have been invited to speak at the Raw-food potluck every few years for the last 15 years.  Each month they feature speaker that talks about some aspect of health.  There really is nothing else like it in the entire state of Michigan that I am aware of.  A tremendous difference has been made in the Lansing area by two women who have been dedicated to holding a Raw-food potluck 12 times a year.  Those two women are Cricket Lott and Beth Bechtel.  Here is the largest collection of Raw Food recipes to be found in the internet, which is impressive unto itself. 

The other Raw-food potluck is held at Saint Stephen’s Church, just next to the First Christian Church, where the Monday pot luck is held. Mozell Lang has run this pot luck for many years herself.  Her raw pizza is to die for.  She also has a speaker each and every month at the pot luck.

Everyone will die sooner or later. So what is living ten more years? Does it make any difference to the universe?

You know I received many comments on my blog about Paula Deen’s announcement that she had diabetes.  Several were e-mailed to me directly and defended Paula Deen,  and basically told me to leave her alone.  Below is a typical comment that I received, and my response to one of them.

 

Comment:
The U.S can easily pick up a new ally or casually discard a trusted one.  A person’s diet is not so important as his/her’s heart.   Everyone will die sooner or later.  So what living ten more years?  Does it make any difference to the universe? Isn’t it more important as to how a person be remembered by people?

Here is my reply to her: 

Sharon:

Thanks for your comments.  You raise some intriguing ideas in your comments about my Paula Deen blog earlier this week.   A person’s heart is important, however Great Health is not as much about longevity as it is quality of health day to day.  Putting the right things in our body that are provided to us by nature is honoring the Temple that God has given us.

Yes, we will all die, and I believe that God will take us when He decides we are ready, and of course the healthiest diet in the world will not prevent or change that.  However, while I am waiting for my time I will live on the foods that God has provided to us so we can be healthy.

I am honored to care for my body, my Temple with things that belong in it and not just what I happen to like the taste of.  I like the taste of many foods such as pizza and cookies but I do not eat them because when I do I am essentially putting trash inside my Temple.  And it does make a difference to God how we treat our Temple, just like it makes a difference to Him whether we sin or not.

As we should abstain from doing wrong, love our neighbors and enemies alike, we should be true to God by honoring the Temple that he gave us, our body.

If Paula Deen wants to make a positive difference in the world she can give up her career of showing people how they can make really great tasting foods that poison the body, trash our Temple and ruin our health.  She herself is an example of what happens when you eat the kinds of foods that she makes.  She has known about her condition of diabetes for 3 years and chose to not say a word about it – that is until she settled a deal with a drug company to promote a drug that cures, handles, manages, and/or lessens diabetes.  Actually I don’t know what the drug Victoza is supposed to do for the condition of diabetes, but I know drugs don’t work because they attempt to overcome the natural mechanisms of the body.  Victoza, I am certain, is no different and drugs do not lead to health.

True health is only found in nature and I’m sure Paula Deen would say that she is “not about to give up her career and the taste of the foods that she loves” for a higher cause.  And if she said it in front of her audience I am 100% positive she would get a big round of applause, perhaps a standing ovation.

In my opinion, we are not meant to live on Earth a few decades, eat the foods we like the taste of and then die from a disease that these foods will inevitably cause. Rather, we are meant to consume foods that nature provides to us in the condition they are provided to us, which is raw and not cooked.  When we do so we avoid the diseases that nearly all of us believe is inevitable and we honor the Temple that God has given us, our body.  It is a lesson that not only Paula Deen, but everyone should learn.  And if Paula Deen did that she would be remembered as someone who is made a positive difference in people’s lives instead of introducing and addicting them them to foods that lead to disease.

Why the Food Network Will Never Have a Raw Food (un)cooking Show

I get a kick out of watching Paula “I’m going to wrap it in bacon and then deep fry it” Deen on the Food Channel.  She reminds you of your friendly aunt that loves to cook and take care of everyone.  But the food she makes on her show is the unhealthiest fair on the Food Network.  It’s mostly fat, more fat, butter, heavy cream, whipped cream, chicken fat, pork fat, and then adds lots of salt and tops it all off with a drizzle of bacon fat.  Yum!  Looks like some of the tastiest poison you would ever want to put in your body.  How about bacon cheese burger with two donuts as the bun?  Most of what you see on the Food Channel is tasty poison, which is why you will never see a Raw Food preparation show on there.  It would alert their regular viewers that all their other programs, which are exclusively cook foods, are unhealthy.

Unfortunately, Paula Deen will watch her life slip away for the taste of her own cooking, as will most of the population.  I wish I could eat pizza, chocolates and French fries because they are incredibly healthy, but they are not.  I like pizza, but I don’t eat it anymore because it’s unhealthy.  I don’t allow the taste of the foods I like to rule my life.

Paula found out about her diabetes a few months ago, but didn’t say anything publicly.  I’m sure she first wanted to close the deal as spokesman for Novo Nordisk, the pharmaceutical company that supplies her diabetes medication.  That may seem cynical but it is no coincidence that it coincided with her announcement.  Deen and her family are launching in a new ad campaign for the Novo Nordisk this month.  First she pushes deadly dishes, now worthless medications to correct the problems caused by those foods.  At least she’s making a buck on both ends.  I was worried that she wouldn’t.

What a great service Paula performs for her viewers. “I have always eaten in moderation,” she said. “You know, people see me on TV two or three times a day and they see me cooking all these wonderfully Southern, fattening dishes. That’s only 30 days out of 365.”  Deen shoots her show 30 days straight so she doesn’t have to eat the poisonous food that she makes on that show because it’s so unhealthy. That means that for most of the year she doesn’t even eat the food that she teaches America how to prepare.  “And it’s for entertainment. And people have to be responsible. Like I told Oprah a few years ago, honey, I’m your cook, not your doctor. You are going to have to be responsible for yourself.”  Let me get this straight: Paula makes tempting, delicious dishes that are full of sugar and fat and then she tells us to be disciplined and not to eat too much of them.  Sounds like the same line that a drug dealer might use: “Here’s the heroine and the needle.  Now don’t do too much of it or your addiction might get out of control and you’ll die.  I don’t want to lose any customers.”

Food personality Anthony Bourdain said in a TV Guide article that Deen is “the worst, most dangerous person to America,” who “revels in her unholy connections with evil corporations” and is “proud of the fact that her food is f—ing bad for you.”  I could not have said it better.

“Here’s the thing, you know, I’ve always encouraged moderation,” Deen said. “On my show, you know, I share with you all these yummy, fattening recipes, but I tell people ‘in moderation… You can have that little piece of pie.” That’s nice, but she is instructing people on how to cook meals that are deadly.  And she does so with such a sweet face and cute accent.

Paula said on the Today Show: Eating the kind of fattening, sugar-laden food that she prepares “is certainly part of the puzzle.”  First, there is no puzzle why that if you eat the kind of food Deen promotes on her show it makes you sick.  The only puzzle is why more people are not aware of how poisonous it is.  “There are many other things that can lead to diabetes.  Certainly genetics, certainly your lifestyle, certainly what you eat, certainly stress and last but not least is age.”  Certainly NOT!  She is flat out wrong about every one of those items except diet.  Genetics, stress, age and lifestyle (whatever she means by that) do NOT cause disease.  Stress produces a lot of acidity in the body, which is bad.  However, stress only becomes dangerous for someone whose body has been weakened by living on a cooked food diet, especially one like the kind Paula Deen promotes on her show.  A person such as those of us who live on a raw food diet do not have to worry about stress taking its toll since there are so many healthy things we can do to counteract its negative effects on the body.  Ultimately, all disease comes from our diet, and it is these kinds of ridiculous comments that people such as Paula Deen make who are not health professionals.  Although Deen knows how to cook, she knows nothing about health.  All she is doing is parroting what the medical community has always told us, which is complete misinformation.

I wish In the face of a serious disease such as diabetes Paula Deen remains defiant: Diabetes diagnosis won’t change how I cook.”  No surprise.

For the record, chronic disease is something I will never face because I live on a diet comprised of raw fruits and vegetables, because that is where health comes derives, along with the right water, minerals, probiotics and the other components of my health protocol.

Website Claims Alkaline Ionized Water Kills – Offers No Proof

 I have told people for years that a Japanese researcher, J. Wantanabea, performed studies that showed Alkaline Ionized Water (“AIW”) caused heart tissue damage in rats.  It is one study and there are three parts to it that were published separately to make it look like multiple studies had been done independently of one another:

“Artificially alkaline water only neutralizes acidity where it has direct contact, like the stomach and upper bowel. When consumed daily, the upper bowel in particular becomes overly alkaline and side effects begin to appear. Most common are erratic heart behavior, hypertension, nervousness/anxiety, urinary tract and bladder infections, and stabbing side pains.”

 We have spoken to numerous individuals who were hospitalized for heart conditions that magically disappeared when they stopped drinking alkaline ionized water. We know of at least one gentleman with a heart condition who died due to interactions between his time-release medication and ionized water- he was a top dealer for one ionizer MLM company. Why would anyone ingest anything unnatural when natural alternatives are available at a comparable cost?

Additionally, more severe side effects were observed in a clinical study involving rats. The study revealed injury to cardiac tissue (heart muscle) as a result of drinking ERW (Electrolyzed Reduced Water), or water created by ionizer machines. In an age when heart disease is a leading killer, ionized water is simply not a smart choice.

Recently, the authors have shown that marked necrosis and fibrosis of myocardium were observed in rats given alkaline ionized water (AKW). To clarify the cause of myocardial lesions, the activities of myosin ATPase, actomyosin ATPase and creatine kinase (CK) in myocardium of rats given AKW at 15 weeks-old were compared with those in myocardium of rats given tap water (TPW). Furthermore, sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) of myocardiac myosin and isoelectric focusing (IEF) of myocardiac CK were performed which revealed a distinct difference between AKW and TPW groups. The activities of myosin ATPase and actomyosin ATPase in the AKW group were higher than those in the TPW group, and these elevated activities were caused by the degradation of myosin in the AKW group judging from the SDS-PAGE pattern of myosin. On the other hand, the activity of CK in the AKW group was lower than that in the TPW group, and the IEF pattern of CK showed leakage of myocardiac CK. These results indicate that increases in actomyosin ATPase activity and myosin ATPase activity, plus the decrease in CK activity caused the disorder of coupled reaction in male rats given AKW at 15 weeks-old. It is concluded that this disorder of coupled reaction may cause marked myocardiac necrosis and fibrosis in rats given AKW.

 Alkaline ionized water (AKW) produced by the electrolysis of tap water (TPW) was given to pregnant rats throughout gestation. AKW was subsequently given to infants as a test group until 15 weeks old to determine changes in body and organ weights, erythrocyte hexokinase (HK) activity and histological preparations of myocardiac muscle. The results were compared with those for rats given TPW. Body weight of male and female rats given AKWA at 3 to 11 weeks of age after birth significantly increased beyond control group values. Organ weights of offspring at 15 weeks-old showed no statistical difference for either group. HK activity, the rate-determining enzyme in erythrocyte glycolysis, significantly increased in males given AKW at 15 weeks-old. This suggests that AKW intake causes elevation of metabolic activity. Hyperkalemia was observed in males and females given AKW at 15 weeks-old.  This study by J. Wantanabe shows that Alkaline Ionized Water (“AIW”, also designated in this article as “AKW”), damages heart muscle tissue in male rats only, which I find rather strange.  AIW has never been shown to affect males differently than it does females, yet in this study, and this study only, it shows that it does.  There are studies that demonstrate how healthy AIW is for us.

We also need to be aware of when this study was conducted, 1998.  Water ionizers were still in their infancy at that time and many of the manufacturers were using stainless steel electrodes that did not produce strong or stable AIW.  The water product lost its ORP and its pH dropped just as quickly.  By the end of the 1990s the water ionizer industry had begun to use titanium plates coated with platinum.  Running water over those plates produced strong, stable ionized water with a pH over 10.

The bottom line, of course, is how many people have actually been affected in a negative way.  I have stated for many years that both AIW and Acid Ionized Water are beneficial to everything it comes in contact with as long as it is used properly.  For instance, you do not want to consume Acid Ionized Water since you would be drinking an acid substance that contains free radicals, the opposite of what you want.

What evidence does the author have for this claim that drinking AIW daily causes the upper bowel to become overly alkaline?  For the record, he has not offered anything other than his opinion, which is a false premise, then goes on to describe the deleterious effects of this over alkalization of the upper bowel.  (By the way, where is the upper bowel in the human body?  I can’t say that I have ever heard of it.)  Where is the evidence of these claims?  I’ve been drinking ionized water for 15 years and never once experienced anything like erratic heart behavior (whatever that is), hypertension, nervousness, anxiety UT and bladder infections, stabbing pains.  Not once have I had any of these symptoms nor has anyone of the thousands of people I have sold water ionizers to reported symptoms anything like these.  I think I would have remembered people telling me that they have stabbing pains after drinking AIW.  All the feedback I have had over the years has been that drinking AIW on a regular basis has done just the opposite.  People feel great and I have countless testimonials regarding AIW.

 Let’s examine these statements a little more closely.  Who are these individuals who they have spoken to?  What health conditions did they have before they began drinking AIW?  Personally, I don’t think they have spoken with anyone and nor do I believe that they can come up with a single name of anyone who they have spoken to about their negative health experiences while drinking AIW.  Not one.  I believe they are lying about it to promote their own product and bad-mouth a product that directly competes with their own product.

I’m also quite suspicious of the statement: “Heart conditions that magically disappeared when they stopped drinking alkaline ionized water.”  Magically disappeared?  That is their evidence that ionized water should not be consumed?  In the scientific world there are things called studies that produce another thing called evidence all of which brings us to something called a conclusion.  Magic doesn’t cut it in the scientific world.  It doesn’t even cut it in the marketing world.  Magic I’m afraid really only works well in the David Copperfield world, and as we all know even that isn’t real magic.  Its sleight of hand and that is what Greg Hoffman is trying to pull with this “magically disappeared” claim.

Who is “we” and what is the gentleman’s name?  If you are going to make such a serious charge as the one that has been made here, that ionized water actually killed someone, then what is the man’s name, when did this happen, and what were the exact circumstances of his death.  If Greg Hoffman refuses to release the exact circumstances of the person who died instantly at the hands of AIW then it’s because he doesn’t have a  name and he doesn’t have a name because he is lying, or at the very least presenting hearsay evidence as actual fact.   Greg Hoffman is quite specific in naming the person who was killed by drinking ionized water as a top dealer for one of the Water Ionizer MLM companies.  That is a name that should be pretty easy to come up with, so what is his name?

 “Why would anyone ingest anything unnatural when natural alternatives are available at a comparable cost?”

  This is where Greg Hoffman really gives himself away and he does this by commingling a warning about the dangers of drinking AIW with the cost of his product.  If Greg Hoffman was really trying to perform a public service then he would not mention the fact that he just happens to have a product that isn’t dangerous for about the same cost.

I find that statement rather odd to say this least.   What difference does it make what age we are living in as to whether something is actually healthy for us or not.  What age it is, or what year it is, has nothing to do with whether something is actually healthy for us or not.  It’s really an absurd statement when it comes down to it, and once again Greg Hoffman unwittingly reveals who he really is and what his intentions are regarding his claims about ionized water and the detrimental effect it has on the body.

I have been defending AIW from those who claim that it is “snake oil on tap“, a waste of money, and now that AIW is actually harmful to the body.  I have staked my professional reputation on explaining ionized water, and stating that it is the “world’s healthiest substance”, which is true because there is nothing better for your health than water and no better water to consume than AIW.  Dr. J. Mercola has attacked AIW, and demonstrated that he actually knows almost nothing about water in general.  I am the author of The Miraculous Properties of Ionized Water.  I sell water ionizers because I understand the incredible health benefits of ionized water and i want the rest of the world to drink it as well.  I don’t promote ionized water so i can make money selling water ionizers, although I’m accused of it.   The same is true with my claims about chlorella and spirulina, that they are thye healthiest, most nutritious foods in the world.  I have defended AIW when it is attacked because I understand its value and health properties.  I am accused of just wanting to make a buck by promoting them.  I use what I promote and promote what I use. I am a Naturopathic Doctor and what I sell is my healthy lifestyle.

What I suspect is going on here with the debunkers is that someone with a lot of money is behind these pathetic attempts to denounce AIW, the world’s healthiest substance.  I have been keeping an eye on the quackwatchers for quite some time.  It would be someone who has an interest in making sure that people don’t find a way to be healthy in a natural way because it would eventually hurt their bottom line.  It would be someone whose interests would lie rather in keeping people unhealthy so that they can continue to sell them products that have been approved by the medical establishment and the FDA.  Any ideas whom that might be?  I’ll bet you do, because it’s pretty damn obvious to everyone who that might be.  But what do I know?  I’m just a guy trying to make the world a little healthier and apparently there are some who just want to make money at the cost of people’s health.

Chlorella with Valerian – the Stress Reducing Herb

The advantage of combining a concentrated herb such as Valerian with a complete food such as Chlorella is that the protein allows the body to absorb and utilize the herb much more safely and effectively.

As Valerian root ages, it produces a substance known as isovaleric acid. This compound and another acid known as valerenic acid are significant active ingredients that are present in the volatile oils found in Valerian root. These volatile oils are thought to be responsible for Valerian root’s ability to relax the central nervous system and promote a good night’s sleep.

Double blind studies have shown that Valerian root can decrease the amount of time it takes for people with mild insomnia to fall asleep.

Isovaleric acid is also used to counteract stress. It has a sedative effect that helps to relax the central nervous system and provide a feeling of relaxation, grounding and calmness.

Isovaleric acid as a remedy for tension headaches and muscular pain because of its ability to act as a muscle relaxant.  It is also known to improve menstrual flow and cramps, and as an aid with symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Isovaleric acid is excellent for use against palpitations, nerve pains, dizziness, lower back pains, chronic skin problems and muscle spasms.

Valerian Root is a “natural valium” that acts as a mild tranquilizer by calming the nerves.  Isovaleric acid improves circulation and reduces mucus from colds.

I can’t tell you why I did not consider the possibility that I was being attacked by bacteria or a virus when I first encountered my illness months earlier, but for some reason I changed my thinking, in part because I had no other choice.  If it was a bacteria or a virus that was proliferating through my body, in particular my extremities, I could take the only thing I had brought with me that could possibly help, and that was Angstrom Silver.

Silver is famous for reducing and killing bacteria and viruses and I’d brought 1.5 ounces of liquid Angstrom Silver (200 ppm), which meant I had one ounce left or less than 2 capfuls.  I took the first capful of liquid silver, holding it under my tongue for about 5 – 6 minutes, which was long enough that most of the liquid disappeared from my mouth.  Holding the liquid under your tongue is an excellent and efficient way to consume any Angstrom mineral such as Silver.  The minerals enter the bloodstream through the sublingual duct under the tongue which allows them to enter the bloodstream directly and therefore much more effectively.

Bob "cured" by Angstrom Silver As soon as I finished the first capful of Angstrom Silver I felt that whatever was attacking had been stopped from proliferating.  Within 3 hours of taking the first capful of Angstrom Silver I felt substantially better.  I took another half of a capful of Angstrom Silver hoping to knock it out once and for all.  My strategy worked.  Five hours after I had taken the first capful of Angstrom Silver I felt great.  My legs stopped aching, as did my neck and shoulders.  In that short amount of time, 3 hours, the pimples on my legs were receding as was the festering sore above my ankle.  I was truly amazed.

Since I rarely get sick with a cold or flu I never used Angstrom Silver by itself.  Silver is one of 26 minerals in the full spectrum blend that I use daily, although I didn’t have any of that with me in China.  By taking the Angstrom Silver that day I learned a tremendous lesson, in fact several of them.  Trying to be the healthiest person I can possibly be my life has become nothing less than an endless procession of lessons on health.

Of course I was perplexed as to what had made me so sick over the summer.  Me, of all people, studying to become a Naturopathic Doctor, crippled by illness just like anyone else, just like the average person who lives on a cooked food diet and not someone who strives every day of his life to be healthier.  The suffering I experienced during the summer was intense and unrelenting.  So many thoughts ran through my mind during that week.  I wondered how a person who is entirely unenlightened about health must feel when they experience the kind of pain I was experiencing then.  At times I felt completely helpless as I’m sure they must feel as well.  I was completely lost as to what I could do about it that summer.

Other than poisoning and subsequent detoxification that would ensue I had no clue what could be making me so ill that summer.  I knew I would be detoxifying because I was water fasting, consuming only raw juices, including shots of powerful foods such as ginger, turmeric, horseradish and garlic.  It helped, but it was 7 days before the attacker ran its course and I felt better.

But after what happened in China, I know it was a bacteria or a virus that had been attacking me then because when I consumed the Angstrom Silver it soon receded from my body and my health returned.  There is no possibility of a placebo effect given the severity of the illness, the damage it was causing to my body and how immediately it all ended after consuming the first capful of Angstrom Silver.

I consumed the remainder of the liquid Silver the following day, taking no more than 1/8 of a capful under my tongue for as long as possible.  I relished the last drop the following morning.  My trip to China, a place I had badly wanted to visit since 1980, had been saved.  I knew at that moment why it had all happened to me, first in the summer and then in China.  It was so I could write about my experience and tell anyone who would listen that the world’s endless plagues of bacterial and viral diseases should never be feared because of a mineral called silver and the angstrom form it should be consumed in.

    Get Healthier Now!

    Drink more water.  Drinking either spring water or sufficiently filtered tap water is the best thing you can do for your health.  If possible, drink ionized water.  The cause of most disease is insufficient hydration of the body’s cells.  Chronic cellular dehydration causes more disease than anything else.  70% of all chronic disease would be seriously abated or completely gone if people simply drink enough water.

  • Eat less animal protein.  Eating cooked animal protein, meat, fish, eggs, and dairy causes more disease than any other activity other than not drinking enough water.
  • Eat more raw foods.  Raw is the law.  Raw fruits and vegetables rejuvenate the body at a cellular level as well as alkalizes it.
  • Eat less cooked foods.  When you cook a Raw-food you oxidize it, you raise the oxidation reduction potential (ORP) of the food.  When you consume such a food you raise the ORP of your body and therefore accelerate the aging process.
  • Eat less processed foods.  Foods that are highly processed contain almost no nutrition whatsoever.  These simply fill in for the stomach that turns off the hunger switch in the brain.
  • Eat more Spirulina and chlorella.  These are the two most powerful foods in the world and what we should use for our protein rather than animal protein.  They are the most nutritionally dense foods and have the broadest array of nutrients of any food.
  • Exercise more often, daily if possible.  Exercise builds the immune system in ways that water and nutrition cannot.  Many raw foodists do not exercise nor do they suggest that people exercise, in part large part because I think they’re lazy.  Exercise and staying positive are essential to being healthy.
  • Get sufficient rest.  This is one of the most understated yet important aspects of natural health.  If you let the body get run down and spent without rejuvenating it great health is not possible.  I personally sleep around 7 hours each night.  Some people can get away with less; some others require more, it is imperative that each person get the amount of rest that is right for them.
  • Stay positive.  If you follow my Seven Component Health Protocol you will be healthy.  However, if you have a negative outlook you will undo your efforts to be healthy.  You must have a Positive Mental Attitude to stay healthy.
  • 10. Be thankful for each day that you are healthy.  And when I was sick in the summer of 2011, and then a night China I was in great pain.  I thought to myself how many people must live with that kind of pain every day of our lives, writhing at the hands of some disease that is attacking them.  After I took the miracle mineral and felt so much better I vowed never to take my great health for granted again.  Health is one of the greatest blessings we can possibly have in our lives.  Here is a simply way to get started in 2012 to being the Healthiest Person you have ever known.
