Just Had Surgery? Here’s a Sloppy Joe

By Dr. Bob McCauley

You go in for surgery on your colon when they find cancer and the first thing they offer you after you are out of surgery is, yes – a sloppy joe.  Why not?  Nothing you eat leads to disease.  As a matter of fact, all disease comes from your genes.  Ask any medical doctor and they will confirm that, then they’ll mention something about diet and exercise.  This is sloppyjoewhat happened to Chris Wark – who asked his doctor about moving to a diet of raw fruits and vegetables.  His doctor told him that this kind of diet would interfere with any chemotherapy that he was going to undertake:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OyHanvUY28

When my mother had a triple by-pass in 1981 her first hospital meal was beef, instant mash potatoes, canned string beans, and jello.  This is what you get from the medical industry.  They are clueless idiots when it comes to nutrition and how our diet relates to our overall health.  If they had a clue, they wouldn’t be offering someone a sloppy joe when they first get out of surgery.  It kind of tells the whole story of who they really are.

Read Mark Wark’s story of cancer, the medical establishment and how getting away from them saved his life.

“Nutridiots” of the “Pond Scum” World

by Dr. Bob McCauley

Nutridiot – (n-trdt)
Short Form of Nutritional Idiot
Noun – A person who is foolish or stupid regarding the subject of nutrition.  A person who offers poor nutritional advice.  A person(s) who mistakes junk for nutritional foods.

Note: First introduced in 2013 by Dr. Bob McCauley as a response to those who refused to recognize that certain algae are amongst the healthiest foods we can consume.

The world is full of Nutridiots, the nutritionally challenged who run around misinforming us as to what foods are healthy and what foods are not.  Dr. Robert O. Young, M.S., D.Sc., Ph.D. is right on some things, but a Nutridiot when it comes to the subject of algae.

He calls algae pond scum, along with nearly every follower of Ann Wigmore including the ann-wigmorefolks at the Creative Health Institute and Hippocrates in Florida.

I happen to think that chlorella and spirulina are what most vegetarians and vegans should be using for their protein since they are 60% protein, and have the broadest array of nutrients of any whole foods.

spirulina platensisSpirlina is one of the two most powerful foods in the world.  However, in this video Dr. Greger, MD, of www.NutritionFacts.org, a non-commercial, nonprofit, science-based public service, that apparently misinforms people on a daily basis about nutrition.  Spirulina eats away your muscles and kills us.  Watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74bbWmFhLzk  Dr. Greger proves my theory that medical doctors know next to nothing about nutrition and natural health.  Dr. Mercola chlor-tabsproves that all the time.  Then he claims the Spirulina causes cancer.  Well, at least he’s not using scare tactics:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk4O232TVeE

Dr. Greger says: “People sure love their pond scum”.  Yes, I undoubtedly do love my pond scum, but I am smart enough not to refer to them as “pond scum”, but rather explain to people how and why Spirulina is one of the most powerful foods on earth.  Maybe you should take closer notice to Dr. Bob since Naturopaths tend a actually know something about health and don’t dismiss the world’s most nutritious foods as the scum that floats upon water.

Heavy Metals Found in Chinese Chlorella – Spirulina

By Dr. Bob McCauley

aluminum-1Heavy metals are found in greater quantities in chlorella and spirulina coming from China.  Truth is, that all food have toxins and heavy metals in them to some degree.  The important thing to know is that they displace into the body when the food is cooked.  Therefore, eat all your foods raw – or at least as much as you can.

The amount of heavy metals found in chlorella is low to begin with.  From the article:

So just how much chlorella would you have to consume for aluminum to be a concern? Let’s do the math:  29 ppm could be viewed as 29mg/kg within a dosage of 3 grams. To reach the daily oral exposure limit for aluminum (as stated 50 mg/day), one would have to consume 1.5 kilograms of chlorella daily! A single 3 gram dose of chlorella would contain only 99 micrograms, more than 500 times below the 50 milligram exposure limit. Or put another way, an entire 300 tablet box of 200 mg/tab (equal to 60 milligrams of chlorella total) contains an entirety of less than 2 mg aluminum less than 25 times below the limit, if you ate the entire box in one day!  New Hope Article.

The levels allowed for drinking water by the EPA are unrealistically low, thanks to the arsenic“optics” of politics.  Politicians don’t want to be known as someone who “Rejected Clean Water Standards” from some environmental group so that want “dirty water.”  The truth is that 50ppb (parts per billion) is ridiculously low for drinking water.  Fill up your car with gas and breath in large amounts of arsenic, Trihalomethanes and a host of hydro-carbons.  Now that’s dangerous since you’re breathing it directly into the lungs and into your bloodstream.  What do we do?  You have two choices: 1) Run screaming hysterically in the streets, an unhinged, out-of-control idiot beyond help. 2) Follow my 7 Components Health Protocol and detoxify your body constantly which is what I do.

Truth is, aluminum is the most abundant metal on earth. Dietary aluminum is everywhere. We are constantly exposed. Our food comes in contact with aluminum from foil and cookware. We consume softdrinks, juice and beer from beverage cans made from 9299 percent aluminum. According to the World Health Organization, aluminum salts are widely used in water treatment as a coagulant to reduce organic matter. U.S. water contains an average of 160 micrograms per liter. The EPA has recommended a Secondary Maximum Contaminant Level (SMCL) of 50200 micrograms/per liter for aluminum in drinking water. This is double the amount of aluminum one would get from that daily 3 gram serving of chlorellaassuming one drinks ONLY 1 liter of water per day. New Hope Article.

Reality: The amount of aluminum found in chlorella is lower than found in many foods and drinking water, does not pose a health threat, and falls well below any regulatory agencies “maximum” allowable level (EPA, EFSA and USP).”   New Hope Article.

mercury (2)Mercury is another huge threat.  Found commonly in fish and throughout the environment.  Dental amalgam is also a primary culprit.  Brown Seaweed Extract and chlorella excellent at removing radiation and metals, including mercury.

Vegan Diet IS Healthy – If You Do it Right

By Dr. Bob McCauley

Another self-claimed health expert has announced that the Vegan Diet is not healthy over a long period of term.  And how would she know?

Here’s the deal – when done right, a vegan diet makes a fantastic detox diet in the short term. Scads of people have switched from a junk food diet of processed and fast food, replaced it with a vegan diet full of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and legumes and have seen their health improve drastically. All those foods are incredibly healthy superfoods! And the vast majority of people in the Western world would do well to abide by that sort of a diet for a few weeks or months.  A Vegan Diet is Not Healthy

Never trust anyone who starts a paragraph with “Here’s the deal”.  It’s code for – I don’t know what I am talking about.  When done “right” the vegan diet is the best diet.  What “right” is – that is the question!  Read my 7 Component Health Protocol to see what the best diet it.  In short, a broad array of fruits and vegetables that is anchored with taking sufficient amounts of spirulina and chlorella.

But butter from grass-fed, pastured cows is rich in saturated fats, vitamin A, buytric acid, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA – a powerful cancer fighter), and lauric acid. Grass-fed, pastured beef itself is also rich in these same nutrients, as well as being a fantastic source of protein, amino acids, and vitamin B12 – which vegans must take as a supplement (a required nutrient our bodies don’t create – we must get it from animal sources).  A Vegan Diet is Not Healthy

Here we go with someone promoting butter again and trying to tell us that it’s PD_butteractually good for us.  I would suspect that she has been taking health advice from Paula Deen.  Sufficient amounts of protein can be found in Chlorella and Spirulina.  More disease comes from eating cooked animal protein than any other source other than dehydration, people simply do not drink enough water.   But here is another person without any experience with the Vegan Diet to tell us different.  Chlorella and Spirulina are also excellent source of B12 can be absorbed by the body.

Omnivores Healthier Than Vegetarians in Indigenous Cultures.  A sad commentary on the state of health in the Western world with our plastic, packaged, chemical-filled foods, but a true insight into the path to optimal health – it includes animal foods!
A Vegan Diet is Not Healthy

Only if you completely ignore Chlorella and Spirulina, the most powerful foods on Earth.

Dear Dr. Bob: I Hate You . . . a Lot

By Dr. Bob McCauley

One (enthusiastic) blogee wrote me in response to my Blog on Paula Deen Expletives deleted (learned that from the Watergate transcripts):

I love the irony. Not only are you a self-righteous a***h*** that PD_buttermust have life by the balls attacking & belittling someone who makes a real living, that stresses discipline and can’t be held accountable for others’ health issues (because a person is ultimately responsible for his/her own diet– why you try to portray Paula as a drug pusher is beyond me. I find it f*****g pathetic & despicable but that’s a matter of opinion) but you say she’s no expert on health meanwhile you’re a journalist! You all of a sudden become a dietician in this post, that amazes me.

Bob_McCauley_reasonably_smallI am a Certified Nutritional Consultant, Certified Master Herbalist, and a Naturopathic Doctor.  I’m not a dietician, who I consider to be the food Nazis of the medical establishment.  I didn’t attack Paul Deen, the person, but Paula Deen the woman who makes great tasting poison, gets diabetes, gets a “gig” with a drug company that has a drug for . . what else . . diabetes.  A drug pusher is one who gets you addicted to their drug then sells you the cure – which just happens to be the drug.  Got it?

Also, “She is flat out wrong about every one of those items except diet. Genetics, stress, age and lifestyle (whatever she means by that) do NOT cause disease” <<<< WHAT (lol) your claim would mean that there is no such thing as inheriting diseases, 5 minutes in an intro Bio class can teach you how wrong you are. I can prove that lifestyle can cause a disease… have you ever cracked your knuckles, I’m sure you have. Continue cracking your knuckles on a daily basis & let me be surprised whether or not you get arthritis or become diagnosed with a joint-related disease. There’s also different forms of stress, some healthy others not. Then you go on a few sentences later & write “A person such as those of us who live on a raw food diet do not have to worry about stress taking its toll since there are so many healthy things we can do to counteract its negative effects on the body.”

Yes, I stand by my words: “A person such as those of us who live on a raw food diet do not have to worry about stress taking its toll since there are so many healthy things we can do to counteract its negative effects on the body.”  You still don’t get it.  Then you’re never going to get it — blogee.

^^Define “so many healthy things” if your thought prior was *diet alone* is the determining factor in health. You can’t, because either way you concede that you’re wrong about diet being solely responsible for health OR I just called you on your s*** & you LIED in the preceding statement.

My 7 Component Health Protocol “defines” it perfectly, thank you very much.  So does my my book, Achieving Great Health – the 7 Components of Great HealthI am not in the habit of lying about health, but rather teaching others how to actually BE healthy.  See the diff?

Just to make it crystal clear that you have little knowledge on what you’re saying I’m gonna mention some common-sense stuff. For instance, (I’m actually gonna back up my statements unlike yourself) if a person is stressed negatively then their heart rate increases, their blood pressure may increase as a response… Heart attacks or an infarction (rupture, in other words) are very possible from the cardiac muscle exhausting itself. Granted, chances are dramatically different in comparison to a person with low cholesterol & a person with poor diet but that’s not to say that’s there’s absolutely no possibility. So do enlighten me, where do you get your info?

Bob_DiplomasWhat I know about health mostly comes from my experience and not my many years of study and talking to other health gurus.  Ultimately, I am my own credentials.

Don’t worry about my heart.  It’s strong because I consume the most important mineral we need for our health: Magnesium.

How about “good” cholesterol? Where do you get your cholesterol if all your foods are raw & fat-free? The human cells along with organs like the liver need fat in order to help metabolize energy, & most of that energy is some form of sugar. Ya eat sugar beets routinely or something?

I get ALL my fat from the plant world, same as every wild animal does, including fish, who people like to extract oil from. I recently blogged about how fish oil is not good for you it’s better to get from where the fish get their fat, which is primarily algae.

Do tell me, what foods are gonna prevent you from developing prostate cancer? Cuz ultimately, if you look @ the numbers, if you don’t die because of heart disease, stroke, diabetes or lung cancer given that I’m sure you don’t smoke then you’re more than likely going to succumb to prostate cancer, a leading killer in it’s own right for men of all ages & the likelihood of developing this disease increases as you become older (so you’re wrong yet again with your “age doesn’t matter” statement).

Lastly, vegans aren’t nearly as healthy as you’d imagine (link on how gluten free diet encourage arthritis [that interprets into a possibility of you contracting a disease so I debunked your “I’m not gonna die any time soon” idea] http://www.laurelofleaves.com/2012/04/a-vegan-diet-is-not-healthy/)

Vegans are healthier than ANYONE when they do it right.  Alkaline Ionized Water and Chlorella, Spirulina as the foundational keys to great health.  Look again at my 7 Components of Great Health.  You’ll see that I cover it all.  People would be healthy if they would listen to me.

I could go on but I found enough faults in your own writing & provided legitimate info that you can find valid references to. I’m not gonna go out of my way to discredit this ridiculous post anymore than I already have. I appreciate your ignorance cuz it’s really been a pleasure.

post script- Choke on that…

It was delightful speaking with you as well.  Cough, cough . . . .

Frederic Patenaude: Water Dunce

By Dr. Bob McCauley

Kevin Gianni – Health Renegade – turned is website, and his reputation, over to Canadian Frederic Patenaude, who immediately borrows Dr. J. Mercola’s Water Dunce Hat, and puts it on his own head. “Alkaline Ionized Water is a scam, eh.” as they say up in Canada.  Mercola knows nothing about water, especially Alkaline Ionized Water.

Read the blind leading the blind here in his first fill in blog.

Dr. Bob McCauley Doesn’t Agree with Dr. Robert Young

By Dr. Bob McCauley

I get questions all the time about how I differ from other health gurus, some of them I would suggest are “so called” health gurus.  One guy with a big audience – bigger than mine as of 2013 – is Dr. Robert Young – who is famous for doing live blood analysis, which I also do, but have gotten away from it in recent years since I found my only advice to those follow my 7 Component Health Protocol.  People keep telling me that I’ve got a big ego to telling everyone that all you have to do is follow my health protocol if they want to be healthy.  Most people, unfortunately, just WON’T listen to me.  If they did, they’d be healthy.  And here’s one health guru that just won’t listen to me.

One Blogee – Sarah J. wrote me:
What Makes You Different From Dr Robert Young?

My Response:
Dear Sarah:

I’ve never met Dr. Robert Young.  I’m sure he’s a nice guy, and he’s a BIG promoter of Alkaline Ionized Water, although not as big as I am.  After all, I wrote the industry’s bible: The Miraculous Properties of Ionized Water – Definitive Guide the World’s Healthiest Substance  – also available in Spanish, as well as being featured in all of my health books.  When it comes to AIW – Dr. Young and I are on the same page.

However, when it comes to other issues we just don’t agree at all. The biggest difference we have is with algae, in particular Chlorella and Spirulina – which he claims are fungi.   Weird, very it is.  There’s a few other reasons as well – all health related of course – and some rather profound I might say.  Read my BOBBLOGs – links below – to find out where we don’t see eye to eye.

Mercola = Health Fraud

By Bob McCauley, ND

mercola-krillFish oil found to cause cancer, which is why ALL my food comes from the plant world, and NOT the animal world.  This is no surprise whatsoever.  Let’s see if the famous Dr. Mercola mentions anything about this since he dr-mercola-antarctic-krill-oil-60ct-650promotes fish oil so heavily.     But krill oil is great, so he says.   Fish oil “heals the brain“, “protects the heart” and “combats ADHD“.  Not to mention that Alaskan Salmon is one of the top 10 mercola-virgin-salmon-oilsuperfoods.  Are you still listening to this guy?  Hope not.

This Mercola fish product is “Virgin”. Wow!  I’m impressed and I don’t even know what “virgin” fish oil is.   Must come from female salmon virgins. Not sure.  !?!?!

There is NOTHING in the way of nutrients found in the animal world that we can get from the plant world.  Where do the fish get their fat?  Mainly from algae, which is why I do the same.  The higher we eat on the food chain, the higher the concentration of toxins we consume.

Hygenists and Hippocrates – Avoid Their Advice if You Want to Be Healthy

By Dr. Bob McCauley

One Blogee Wrote me:

Hello Mr. McCauley Philip J**** here, I’ve been researching The raw food arena and there are so Many contradictions that a person Looking to transition to the raw food diet Can become very confused. I had a conversation with Dr. David Klein He said all natural hygiene people do Not consume algae of any kind. And the Natural Hygiene diet, is the Diet all humans should consume Dr. Klein also said to me that, the first Two years on the raw food diet, A person physically looks terrible. And that it takes two years for the Body to acclimate to the raw food lifestyle. What do you think of all this? And is any of it true. I have your book And I have purchased spirulina and Chlorella tablets from you. What is this problem that the raw Food movement has with spirulina And chlorella. I have been eating Spirulina and chlorella for some Time now , I have just switched, From eating pure planet products, To your product line. So please help me to understand The differences between The Ann Wigmore style of raw food Eating, the Hippocrates institute of Raw food, Dr. Gabriel Cousens Raw food style. And your style of the raw food Lifestyle. Thank You

Sincerely,

Philip
My reply:
Phil:

David Klein and the hygienists are about as wrong as it gets when it comes to raw foods.  They are fanatics who hate chlorella and spirulina and tell everyone to eat fruit, fruit, fruit, then more fruit.  I felt great immediately when I became a raw foodist.  It took him 2 years?  No surprise.  And don’t try to talk to them about algae, they don’t want to hear it.  I food-nazidon’t have much good to say about them and their health philosophy bookssleepthat mainly comes from Herbert Shelton who wrote volumes – and volumes – on health whose primary effect was to put those to sleep who attempted to read them.  At least they got some rest.

Ann Wigmore is much better, but the Hippocrates Institute promotes distilled water, big ann-wigmoremistake – and wheat grass, which is great but nothing compared to algae.  In fact, they also don’t promote algae and suggest people stay away from it.  They praise Wigmore like she was a Health savant sent from the angels to save us.  Her books are tedious and uninspired, seemingly as drab as she reportedly was.  Diet is not health, as she insisted.  Rather, it is but one part of health.  Water is the key and she knew next to nothing about it.  Gabriel Cousens is good, he promotes a high fat diet and NO sugar at all.  He promotes distilled water, or at least he use to.  I like him overall, but he does NOT promote Alkaline Ionized Water, another mistake in my opinion.  If you want to visit his retreat center be prepared to travel to the precise center of nowhere to find him.

You need to get as many raw fruits and vegetables into your diet as possible.  Look at my 7 Component health protocol.  It’s all about variety.  The foundation for any healthy diet is algae, spirulina and chlorella, which you use for your protein.  And the best diet is one food-nazi-1comprised of raw foods.  As for the hygienists, my advice is to steer clear of them.  They are narrow-minded food nazis and David Klein – sorry, Dr. Klein – is a prime example of their ridiculous fanaticism.
