Mercola Puts On His His “Water Dunce” Hat Again

Dr. Who? Exactly what is Dr. Margaret McCartney is an authority on? I must confess that this is the first time in my life I have ever heard of anyone from Scotland offering health advice. From what I have seen thus far, I will certainly not be looking for more from Scotland because I can think of no worse health than to tell people not to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. Continue reading

Another Reason to Ignore Any Health Advice from Dr. Mercola

What Dr. Mercola is great at is disseminating information about the medical industry and exposing medical/health myths. If you want to find out if soy is good for you or not Mercola’s website is a good place to start looking. He has no problem exposing fraud or hypocrisy when he sees it in the medical/health world. But when it comes to offering real health advice and backing them up with products his record is bland and pedestrian. “Me too,” says every one of Mercola’s products. Continue reading

Six Notorious Health Posers

There are health professionals who truly can help people become healthier and others who have nothing to do with health other than pretending to promote health when in fact it is the same old same old. Nothing personal against any on this list. I don’t know any of them personally. Here’s a short list of those who, in my opinion, are anything but health gurus who people should listen to: Continue reading

“We want our money back!” On the Dangers of Selling Supplements

by Bob McCauley, CNC, MH I don’t sell supplements.  I don’t think they are necessary to live a healthy lifestyle.  I sell wholefoods such as chlorella and spirulina.  However, first, let’s define what a supplement actually is.  I consider a … Continue reading

Drs. Mercola and Cousens Debate Veganism: Listen to it before bedtime. You’ll fall asleep

Here is my video response to the Debate about the Vegan Diet Debate between Dr. Mercola and Dr. G. Cousens, who wrote the introduction to my book Achieving Great Health, 2005. The conversation meanders as these two technocrats of the … Continue reading

Mercola taken to School – Structured Water, Negative Ions. Sure Sounds Like Ionized Water to Me

Dr. Mercola recently interviewed Dr. Gerald Pollack, of the University of Washington where he is a professor of bioengineering, has developed a theory of water that has been called revolutionary. The researcher has spent the past decade convincing worldwide audiences that water is not actually a liquid. Pollack explained his fascinating theory in this 32nd Annual Faculty Lecture which can be download here.

In his rather technical discussion with Dr. Mercola, Dr. Pollack repeatedly talked about structured water and the importance of consuming it. Dr. Pollack scientifically talks over our heads about the most perplexing aspects of water, and that of structured water, which happens to be another term for Alkaline or Ionized Water. Continue reading

My Rebuttal to Dr. Mercola’s Assessment of Ionized Water

This is not the first time someone with gravitas in the natural health industry has made disparaging remarks concerning ionized water, dismissing it as a “fad”, “snake oil on tap” and/or simply as a “scam” that will eventually be exposed for the fraud it really is. Dr. Andrew Weil, who has in the past offered a lot of excellent natural health advice, dismisses Ionized Water and I wrote a rebuttal to his dismissive comments. I have also debunked the debunkers of ionized Water, none of whom I believe have ever tried it. These misguided health professionals have missed the most important health advance in the history of mankind. Worse, they have potentially kept scores of people from integrating ionized water into their lifestyle and making themselves healthier.
